Job Description:
Reporting to the R&D Manager, this position will be responsible for the design, development and unit testing of system enhancements and software fixes for existing clients as well as new implementations.
The Position:
This position involves:
- Participating in all phases of the software development process
- Ensuring that the developed software meets the client requirements within the defined timeframes
Responsibilities:
- Code software programs and applications according to user and product requirements
- Provide System Administration Support as needed
- Act as a resource for technical questions related to specific modules and functionality
- Work with Client Services Manager and Customer Support to maintain source code and version control
- Aid the Client Services Department in meeting project deadlines/margins by the punctual completion of all deliverables and accurate, timely status reporting.
- Support DTI’s team commitment by building and maintaining constructive working relationships with other staff members by sharing information, ideas and knowledge openly and honestly.

Qualifications:
You must have:
- 1+ years experience in software development
- Post-Secondary Education Computer Science
Knowledge of the following is an asset:
- Knowledge of Telecommunications Industry
